It should build up units until roughly a 50% chance of victory, then send them out to attack cities. The problem is, it doesn't use these units. It can buy/build units are a ridiculous pace, which is fine. The AI has zero difficulty in building replacement units due to its production bonuses, including influence generation. Unfortunately this doesn't really help the AI due to the AI being reluctant to fight battles with less than a 100% chance of victory. While it's great the AI has large armies they should be able to afford them easily, or should learn to budget. Is it bad city management? Can you make it smarter to make more energy cores in their primary colony provinces or at least change over after the cities populate? This is with AI Very Difficult so I assume they have massive bonuses.īy the same point in the game I often have 10000s of credits I can't spend fast enough with like 800 credits a turn. That means they have a negative 800 morale which makes them even easier pickings. Devs, As you know there is a lot of talk about fixing the AI to make it more aggressive and build higher Tier Units.Ī related matter is that late game I constantly fight AI with millions of low grade units that are NOT PAID.
